Who we are
MACRA was born from a simple frustration: eating well in India's cities is harder than it should be. We're on a mission to change that.
Our story
MACRA was founded by Mounica and Vishal, two people united by a shared belief that good food can transform how we live, feel, and connect.
Mounica’s journey began with a long personal pursuit of better health and balance. Over the years, she discovered that lasting wellness isn’t about restriction but about consistency and meals that are nourishing, flavorful, and easy to sustain. Her love for food evolved into a mission to make healthy eating something people actually look forward to.
Vishal’s path grew from his passion for empowering farmers who grow with intent and integrity. He wanted to connect people with produce they can trust and build systems that reward responsible farming.
When their worlds met, MACRA took shape, blending nutrition with taste, local sourcing with convenience, and purpose with pleasure. Together, they built MACRA to make wholesome, fresh, macro-balanced meals effortless so that eating well feels natural everyday, and deeply satisfying.
